Using the sire bond, Lizzie is forced to drive a stake into her chest, though Lizzie overcomes the sire bond, missing her heart. She was the first vampire in history of TVD/TO universe revealed to be bipolar. With end in sight, Ken creates lightning in the palm of his hand and strikes Hope, sending her flying through the air. Lizzie's lost again and questions why the gods would need protection. Aurora explains that after the descendants of the original Triad freed her, she knew she would need an object powerful enough to trap the tribrid. She pleads to Lizzie, believing it to be her brother, to release her before Hope returns. Introducing herself, she is Aurora, Rebekah's first vampire of her sireline and her father's lover and greatest enemy. Lizzie pleads with her to help her, though Aurora can't just let her out. Aurora, Tristan and Lucien swore vengeance against the Mikaelson family and spend centuries looking for weapons that would kill them until the truth about the sirelines were revealed, thus forcing them to incapacitate the Originals instead so they wouldn't die themselves. Elijah dispatched her Strix escort while Klaus took Aurora, who was happy to see Klaus in her drug induced state. He was so intent on destroying him that he was blind to the true enemy in his midst; his daughter. He tells her that she may call him Ken and she comments that's even sillier. Lizzie, however, doesn't go to Alaric. Lizzie doesn't believe so because what Aurora refuses to see is that Tristan was the problem. In their last meeting, she believed him absorbed. She then questioned Camille's feelings for Klaus and laughed at the idea that Cami believed she was really bringing out the good in him. He needs confirmation that all the things she has told him are true. Lizzie is surprised to find out that she betrayed her family.
